Freelance Writer & Copywriter
Christina Van Starkenburg is an award-winning freelance writer and copywriter.
She regularly reviews children’s books for the Book Nook column in Island Parent and writes web content for a medical/legal website.
And, because that isn’t enough, she is also working on a few creative projects on the side. She has just completed the first draft of her young adult fantasy novel The Key Thief, and she is putting on the finishing touches on her second children’s book Gerald's Race, which is about a young boy with epilepsy who wants to win the race at his school's track and field day.
Christina is located on Vancouver Island, but don’t let being in a different part of the country or world stop you from reaching out and working with her. She can be reached at Christina.email@example.com, as long as it is not the weekend or a holiday she will respond within 48 hours.

Here are a few things past co-workers and clients have said about Christina and what it is like to work with her:
Hi and Welcome to My Page! My name is Christina Van Starkenburg, and I like to spend my time writing. And as you might notice pretty quickly, I like to write about many different things, from homes and moving (which as a military spouse, I can assure I have a lot of first-hand experience on), to health and wellness to parenting and ways to grow in your faith.
My husband and I have two sons, aged 4 and 1.5 and we live with our cat on Vancouver Island. I hope that you find encouragement and help while you are on my site, and I look forward to getting to know you better.
If you have any questions that you would like me to answer on my blog, or if there is something that you would like me to write for your website, let me know.
